The phytotron controlled environment facility consists of six large (3.6 m2) and six small (1.5 m2) Conviron® growth chambers. Eight growth chambers are equipped with sensor boxes and a control system which allow online monitoring of the air temperature and humidity, the light intensity and the CO2 concentration. The CO2 concentration in the chamber can be controlled by either injecting CO2 or by activating a scrubbing system.
